What is Competitive Math?

Math competitions are a great tool to develop a passion for Mathematics in young minds. The competitive math program is designed for kids who want to explore math beyond their classrooms. The primary aim of this program is to equip students with various problem-solving techniques and prepare them for the various math competitions that are held throughout the academic year.

What will my student learn in the Competitive Math Program?

The Competitive math coaching at “The math Pal” is engaging, encouraging and prepares students to take on the various national mathematical competitions held year around. The important features of the program are:

Focus on building a solid foundation in the core mathematical computations:

Students are taught key mathematical concepts to ensure an in-depth understanding.

They keep reviewing these concepts as and when required.

comp2 program
Goal oriented coaching:

Students participate in various math competitions held throughout the academic year. E.g. Math Kangaroo, Noetic Math etc.

Students are trained to tackle these competitions

Lots of Sample tests of the respective competitions are provided.

Students are taught various techniques employed in mathematical problem solving.

Loads of challenging puzzles and games are included to keep the student interested, motivated and inspired.

PROBLEM SOLVING

  • Students work with a goal of  participating in various math competitions held throughout the academic year. E.g. Math Kangaroo, Noetic Math etc.

  • Students learn time management strategies to tackle these competitions

  • Group problem solving & Brain storming activities promote team building skills

  • Lots of Sample tests of the respective competitions are provided.
